Not enough doses, large queues and shocks according to testimony. In other centers, such as Ariana, which vaccinated more than 3,000 people, Sihem Chabaane, a 25-year-old psychomotor therapist, was able to get her dose at the last minute.
“As soon as I went in, a doctor took me to her and injected the dose and said:” you are lucky, it’s a real war going on here, we have to hurry because there are only a few doses left, hurry up so fast ” “, explains the young woman.
The positive point despite these problems is the influx of young Tunisians who are ready to be vaccinated. Only 8% of the population has received their two doses so far. The country is dependent on vaccine supply. France must send 500,000 doses of the Janssen vaccine on Thursday.
