Tunisian police storm Al-Jazera’s office in Tunis

Al-Jazeera television said on Monday that Tunisian police had stormed its office in the capital Tunis and expelled all staff, after President Kais Saied fired his government late on Sunday in a move that his enemies called a coup.

Security forces ordered its closure, according to a statement from the Qatar-based network on its Facebook page. The reason for the move was not immediately clear.
