Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta says he has no plans to let Gabriel Martinelli go away the membership on mortgage in January.
The younger Brazilian has fought for enjoying time this season because the Gunners have fewer matches to wrestle with within the absence of European soccer, which has led to much less rotation from Arteta.
After beginning the primary two video games of the season, the 20-year-old has not made a Premier League look since being substituted within the second of them in opposition to Chelsea way back on August 22, resulting in options that he is probably not a part of his coaches’ plans for the remaining of the present marketing campaign.
But when requested about Martinelli’s future throughout his pre – match press convention in opposition to Crystal Palace on Monday, Arteta mentioned Arsenal had no plans to let him go away.
“No, I’m very happy with him and we are not thinking of anything like that,” he mentioned. “He had a few games he played, he started against Brentford and he also started against Chelsea.”
The Gunners boss added that an harm waste may have an effect on Martinelli’s dedication to the Eagles.
“Unfortunately, he was injured last week,” he continued. “It’s a minor injury but we do not know if he will be available on Monday but we have a lot of confidence in Gabby and we have to find the right place for him to grow within the squad.
“If you have a look at the variety of matches he has performed, clearly the accidents he has suffered have been main setbacks with it.
“We sometimes forget his age, what he has done and and where he is and we must also try to help him maintain his balance because you can create frustration that in my opinion comes from an unrealistic diagnosis and you need time to do so.”
