Barcelona: predicted line-up against Villarreal

Xavi’s second La Liga assignment when the new Barcelona boss sees his side facing a tricky test away against Unai Emery’s Villarreal.

The victory proved difficult for the new manager in the Champions League in the middle of the week against Benfica, where Barca now face the reality of having to fight with Europa League football after Christmas if they do not defy the odds against Bayern Munich.

There were positive signs in the goalless match with the Portuguese team, although Xavi will demand a bigger lead in the attack from his accusations this weekend.

This is how Barcelona could line up.
