Crystal Palace end the calendar year by hosting Norwich at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Tuesday afternoon.

Patrick Vieira will still be missing from dugout due to Covid-19 isolation, while several players are also unavailable for selection.

But the Eagles are still expected to win and this is the team that can play …

Jack Butland (GK) – Has suddenly been favored ahead of Vicente Guaita for the last two Premier League matches, suggesting he can start here as well.

Joel Ward (RB) – More or less an automatic selection on the right back. Has even been team captain in three of his last four appearances.

Marc Guehi (CB) – Will probably return to the side after resting before the Spurs match.

James Tomkins (CB) – Should keep his place to partner Guehi, which would mean that Joachim Andersen misses.

Tyrick Mitchell (LB) – Was replaced by Nathan Ferguson in the last moments against Spurs but will probably return from the start here.

Conor Gallagher (CM) – As the best goal scorer so far this season, he will be the key here if Palace are to make an important win to end the calendar year.

Cheikhou Kouyate (CM) – Set for his 10th straight Premier League start since a short period of starting eleven in October.

Will Hughes (CM) – In line to continue his run in the team in light of Luka Milovojevic’s expected absence.

Jordan Ayew (RW) – Two direct goal kicks in Palace’s last two home matches are in his favor before this one.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (ST) – The absence of Covid-19 and the suspension of Wilfried Zaha have severely limited Palace’s chances of attack, giving the Frenchman a very rare start.

Odsonne Edouard (LW) – Will not be eager to play on the left but the situation considers it necessary.
