“I need [kick-start my career]. I’m more excited about this than I have been for a few years now, especially how my career developed.

Games, get back the enjoyment of football and then go from there. Some have slipped away, I have made mistakes, I have not played.

“I’m in the last year of my contract, so there’s more than just football on it.

“I’m desperate for games, I know my position and I know it’s not what I expected in ten years. So I have to make changes and I make the right steps.

“I just have to keep in touch with the boss, trust each other and trust the team. Hopefully they trust me and we can build on that. ”
