Hudson-Odoi and Coman replaced

Chelsea are considering proposing a swap deal for Kingsley Coman that would allow Bayern Munich to finally land the long-term goal Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Bundesliga champions have been fans of Hudson-Odoi for several years and stretch back to January 2019. However, a deal collapsed and he has since signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

Bayern are likely to see a new bid for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer. Will they land him this time? ?

However, it has been far from normal sailing for the edge since then. He has been in and out of the Chelsea team and struggled to earn the faith of both Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel for the past two seasons, and speculation about his long-term future has never really disappeared.

It was reported in June that Bayern’s interest in the 20-year-old had disappeared, and it emerged around the time when 90 minutes was told that Borussia Dortmund were considering bids for both him and Tammy Abraham.

But now it is reported by L’Equipe that Chelsea have felt an opportunity. The newspaper, whose report is carried by GFFN, says that the Blues want Bayern winger Kingsley Coman and is investigating the possibility of changing the two edges.

Tuchel is a huge fan of the Comans, and Chelsea are said to be keen to bring him in, but Bayern’s price – around 90 million euros – excludes a direct purchase. The club believes that including Hudson-Odoi in a deal would keep the price down to a minimum, but it remains to be seen how Bayern value him.

They also say that Hudson-Odoi is not in Tuchel’s plans for next season. He has not played for the club since a replacement appearance against Arsenal in May, where he put out his last two Premier League matches and the Champions League final against Manchester City.

It is unclear what Hudson-Odoi stands for a potential move. He may prefer to stay in the Premier League if there are options on the table, after it was reported that he plans to fight for his place in the England squad despite suggestions that he can change allegiance to Ghana.
