Juventus predicted the line-up against Roma

4

Juventus continue their quest for a top-four place in Serie A as they travel to face Jose Mourinho’s Roma side at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

The Old Lady were frustrated in the middle of the week when they were held to 1-1 at home by Napoli, which left them three points from Atalanta in 4th place despite playing one more match.

Juventus have no major absences to deal with, although there are concerns about midfielders Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, who have handled injuries and Covid-19 respectively.

This is how Juventus can line up.

Wojciech Szczesny (GK) – Looks safer between the posts after a turbulent start to the campaign.

Mattia De Sciglio (RB) – Allegri has tended to prefer Juan Cuadrado as a full-back in recent weeks, but the Italian will support the defense against a talented Roma attacking role.

Daniele Rugani (CB) – Encountered the challenge mid-week after replacing the injured Bonucci.

Matthijs de Ligt (CB) – Has not been completely common since he came to Juventus, but there have been signs in recent weeks that he is starting to find his feet.

Luca Pellegrini (LB) – Missed the draw with Napoli in the middle of the week due to illness, but he was able to return directly to the team.

Arthur (CM) – Back from injury and back to the front edge of Allegri’s team choice.

Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) – Juve’s without a doubt the most impressive midfielder when he is in a confident mood.

Paulo Dybala (AM) – Returned from injury in the Napoli draw in the middle of the week.

Federico Bernardeschi (RW) – Enjoys an impressive form when Juve take advantage of his creative qualities.

Alvaro Morata (ST) – Allegri is keen to keep the Spaniard with interest from Barcelona.

Federico Chiesa (LW) – Netted Juve’s equalizer in the middle of the week in their first start after returning from injury.
