Southampton predicted the line-up against Crystal Palace


Southampton will try to stop a five-match unbeaten streak as they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s job has not been made much easier by injuries picked up for forwards Armando Broja and Adam Armstrong, who joins Che Adams on the sidelines and gives the boss some tricky decisions to make.

Willy Caballero (GK) – Injuries to Alex McCarthy and Fraser Forster mean that Caballero will see the second start of his short-term contract.

Jan Bednarek (CB) – A solid favorite under Hasenhuttl, Bednarek will likely start his 12th game of the season.

Mohammed Salisu (CB) – Back from suspension, Salisu should end up directly in the defense.

Kyle Walker-Peters (LB) – He continues to suck Romain Perraud out of the squad, but Walker-Peters can expect to rotate with the Frenchman in the coming weeks.

Nathan Redmond (RM) – Still waiting for his first goal of the season, it would not even be a surprise if Southampton’s injury gets Redmond to attack for this.

James Ward-Prowse (CM) – Club captain Ward-Prowse does not miss many matches and he definitely can not stand this one.

Oriol Romeu (CM) – Another return from suspension, Romeus’ physical presence was missing in the recent defeat against Arsenal.

Nathan Tella (LM) – Tella seems to have forced herself into Hasenhuttl’s starting line-up. has started the last three matches.
