It is not often that you are the top scorer for two seasons in a row, just for your club to show you the door
But that’s the scenario Tammy Abraham is in.
After the big money that Timo Werner and Kai Havertz arrived at the beginning of Chelsea’s 2020/21 season, 23-year-old Abraham immediately fell into the breeding order and although he still managed to match Werner’s goals, topped 12 strikes over during the campaign, Thomas Tuchel’s introduction in the middle of the season seen him become an almost forgotten man at Stamford Bridge.
Now it seems that the Blues want to make money on the Englishman for a reported £ 40 million to raise money for the purpose of burning in the sensational hitman Erling Haaland, for which they are willing to split as much as £ 150 million.
It seems like it’s time for Abraham for Chelsea; so where could he go? Let’s take a look.

It has been reported that Chelsea have offered Abrahams services to Serie A champions Inter, in the potential scenario that the Blues enter for ex-striker Romelu Lukaku.
However, Inter are far from willing to let one of Europe’s most potential attack threats leave their ranks – and Lukaku is still happy at the club.
Abraham would probably fit Simone Inzaghi’s athletic style of play, but with Lautaro Martinez standing next to his Belgian frontman, there may not be too much room for regular football in the first team.

There seems to be a lack of high-quality striking options at Everton right now and if Richarlison’s, albeit unlikely links to Real Madrid were to become a reality, another forward would be a necessity for Rafael Benitez’s side.
Benitez has proven a wide range of tactics in his career but his fast and direct way of attacking would suit the tall, strong and sharp Abraham.
The former Liverpool boss is reported to be interested in the strikers’ services and as the club prepares to sell a significant number of players, the financial aspect of the deal would not be too much of a problem.
However, his similarities to Dominic Calvert-Lewin may mean that prioritizing variation in attack may be a better option.

Although new reports suggest that Nuno Espirito Santo has made Danny Ings his best transfer target for collaborating with Harry Kane in a two-man attack, Abraham would still be a good option.
The Chelsea striker has shown his versatility at the top and shows an ability to link games while he has the ability to turn and run behind.
Should Kane stay, Abraham would represent a good alternative to diversifying attacking areas at Spurs, while in the unlikely event that the England captain leaves, Abraham’s potential connection to Ings could be the beginning of a fruitful partnership.

The hammers must be based on their firepower.
Michail Antonio is the club’s only recognized striker right now and opens the door wide open for new attacking arrivals.
The club has been linked with a number of strikers, including Czech sensation Adam Hlozek and Swiss star Breel Embolo. But Abraham provides top-level experience in English football and the ability to win.
His presence at the top would undoubtedly produce good football for David Moyes’ side, which would allow anyone to play to encourage fluency and interaction between striker and the like Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma in the final third.
A stumbling block could be the economy of all potential deals, with Chelsea’s valuation a bit steep for West Ham.

The two parties have history.
Abraham spent a magical loan spell at Aston Villa during the 2018/19 season and helped the club to a championship game triumph with a 26-goal.
Dean Smith has a gem in Ollie Watkins, although his only other out-and-out striker in the squad is Kienan Davies. Villa have already shown their intentions in the transfer window so far and picked up Emi Buendia under Arsenal’s nose, but will have to step up in forward-looking areas if they are to really continue from a very promising campaign last time.
Abraham poses another threat to Watkins, and a return to Villa Park would not hurt the supporters – you can be sure of that.

Abraham would surely be a success at Arsenal.
He would represent a new alternative to Arteta’s side that could really use the electric runners they boast from far and wide. His tendency to sink deep can open space from behind, while also providing a fantastic outlet for posts in the penalty area.
In addition, the 23-year-old fully fits the club’s transfer policy – exciting talents over time to improve and establish themselves as top players at the club and return the Gunners to their usual Premier League top heights.
And what makes this deal near perfect is the fact that Abraham has a love for the Gunners and used to adore Thierry Henry in his youth – everything seems too good to be true, right?
Well, one possible problem may be the asking price. In the true Arsenal way, it is still unclear whether the club is willing to meet Chelsea’s £ 40 million valuation.
Although it’s certainly worth it?

Borussia Dortmund have already confirmed that they will not accept Abraham as a weight in any swap deal for Haaland, but that should not distract from the fact that BVB need another striker.
Even if Haaland stays in a new season, his injury period halfway through the 2020/21 campaign should be sufficient proof that their squad depth in the area is simply not enough.
The goal machine’s injured absence throughout December 2020 saw BVB only one of four, jumped off in the Champions League places and fought to get back in for the rest of the campaign and kick Lucein Favre – yes, that’s telling.
With only the teenage experience Youssoufa Moukoko as a backup, Abraham would not be an alternative overlooked. Any striker who contains a productive streak and who can produce real quality in his game – who is charged by his club – should be considered a gift in Dortmund’s situation, even if it could give them back around £ 40 million.
At the back, the Bundesliga – and often Borussia Dortmund – has been a haven for young players to thrive. Abraham would suit BVB’s collective and direct style and, as we have seen with Jude Bellingham, a return to England’s squad could be within reach sooner rather than later if he were to adapt quickly to German life.
