Tottenham add Dean Henderson & Sam Johnstone to the goalkeeper list

Manchester United’s Dean Henderson and West Brom’s Sam Johnstone are seen by Spurs as the club in north London continues its search for a successor to Hugo Lloris.

The 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and could end his ten-season season at Tottenham.

90min recently revealed that Antonio Conte has asked the club to sign a new goalkeeper regardless of Llori’s future, with Ajax Andre Onana a personal favorite with the Italian coach.

And the Daily Mail reports that the club has also been made aware of the situation of England national team players Henderson and Johnstone.

Henderson has remained second fiddle to David de Gea at Man Utd this season – 90 minutes understand that the former has asked to leave on a permanent transfer – while Johnstone is the leading goalkeeper in the Championship and still a favorite with England boss Gareth Southgate.

It had been reported last week that Spurs were also hungry for Jordan Pickford. Everton are reluctant to let the Three Lions goalkeeper go, but the Financial Fair Play rules could force them to a sale – Toffees could only spend £ 1.8 million under the summer transfer window.

Tottenham already have an experienced reserve goalkeeper in Italian national team player Pierluigi Gollini, who signed a first loan deal from Atalanta this summer. But he has failed to live up to expectations in his rare outings so far this season, keeping two zeros in seven Europa Conference League and EFL Cup matches.
