West Ham welcome Southampton to London Stadium on the second day as the Hammers look to get back to the top four.
A defeat in their previous Premier League outing away against Arsenal caused the Gunners to skip over David Moyes’ men in the table, where West Ham had only won once in their previous seven matches in all competitions.
At the same time, Southampton are hovering six points above the relegation line during a season where they have really lacked consistency. The Saints are unbeaten in their last six games, three of which have ended in a draw.

The Hammers will welcome Vladimir Coufal back into the squad after being suspended for midweek’s Carabao Cup defeat to Tottenham.
The defender’s return is a welcome boost for David Moyes as he struggles with the absence of Aaron Cresswell and Ryan Fredericks at full-back positions, while Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna will also be out for the foreseeable future.

The Saints have not tasted victory in any of their last eight meetings with West Ham dating back to 2017.
The Hammers have won their last four games against Southampton at London Stadium, although they were drawn when these teams met in September.
Michail Antonio was dismissed during downtime in a lifeless store on St. Mary’s before West Ham moved up in the league with an impressive form in the autumn.

Moye’s side is starting to feel how it will be with its growing injury list, with Antonio’s energy levels in attacks suffering after taking on the goal burden this campaign.
The Hammers have not found the net in three of their last four games in all competitions and they face a Southampton team that has similar goal problems.
With that in mind, these two teams can play off another goalless draw.
Prediction: West Ham 0-0 Southampton
